A water-quality score is only useful if the science behind it is right today, not just the day it was written. So the running service re-scores real satellite scenes with the exact code that scores yours, and shows you the result, including what is still wrong.

• Every change is tested on real satellite photos of lakes, rivers and land before it ships.
• Results are compared with lab tests of the same water on the same days.
• A person approves every change to the science, and past results it changes are corrected in public.
